£33m don't tell fibs BrownsI remember Ramon Calderon telling the story of how he sold Robinho to Man City, and saying something along the lines of "We were thinking we would get about 25 million, something like that, but they said 'How much do you want?', so of course we started high, 40 million ... and they gave us 50."
I think it's funny, and confusing at the same time they get some much coverage on here. Honestly didn't even know they hadn't moved stadiums until recently.Fairly sure nobody cares what West Ham do mate. That's the difference.

Thing is, one of them is a proven winner time and again. The other is Ross Barkley.£100k a week for a past it Zabaleta, nobody bats an eyelid.
£100k a week for Barkley is, on the other hand, jaw-dropping and far more than he's worth.
Logic right there.

Today's Times is saying that Man City are preparing a move for Van Dijk from Southampton.....
Manchester City are preparing a £100 million deal for Virgil van Dijk that they hope will allow them to beat Chelsea and Liverpool to the defender’s signature.
City are ready to pay Southampton more than £50 million and give Van Dijk a five-year contract worth about £180,000 a week, nearly four times his present salary.
Chelsea thought that they were in pole position to sign Van Dijk as they were willing to pay him £170,000 a week — about £50,000 a week more than has been offered by Liverpool. Southampton are holding out for about £60 million as they must pay Celtic 10 per cent of the transfer fee for a player they bought from the Scottish club for £13 million two years ago.
The 25-year-old Holland defender would partner John Stones, whom City bought for £47.5 million from Everton last summer, in a new-look defence to which the club hope to add Kyle Walker, a right back who may cost a similar sum from Tottenham Hotspur, and Benjamin Mendy, on the other flank, from Monaco. The back four alone would cost almost £200 million.
