Heard much about Spurs incomings mate? Not that you need too much I guess.

We don't need much. Talk of the Hoffenheim RB & the young Argentinian CH Foyth. £8-10mn the pair if the unbelievable were to occur & we actually signed a player. Barkley chatter has dried up, i suppose due to his op. Deadline day deal if it were to happen (unlikely).

We have Winks back from injury & Rose/Lamela also to return in the near future (hopefully). So maybe a bit of squad strengthening/tweaking.

I dont get the stress over Spurs signing players. I know they did not win the league but what else do they really bady NEED ?

Other tha maybe more quality form the bench to have amore srious challeng on all fronts.

Like how Spurs are doing things.
The problem is while they're good they have yet to actually win anything and they risk stagnating and having others move past them if they just sit where they are

We dont know if anyone has actually improved yet, we dont know how these players will settle.

Spurs WILL sign players, they just not in the middle of any re-building stage.
I just see it like Chelsea right after winning the title where they messed around with Stones and didn't actively seek improvement because they and many others saw them as not needing much improvement. Between United City Chelsea and us someone has done good business

I agree
While Spurs have a good 12/13 players and a good academy it hasn't happened for them yet
They are a bit like ROSS , full of potential but haven't hit the heights yet
Been good for a few seasons and there or thereabouts but are lacking something
Wether that's a marquee game changing player or two , more strength in depth or mental strength I'm not sure
They need to win something very soon or the vultures will start circling around Kane Ali Alderwield etc.
These players know they have a short career span and will want to win trophies
It's not as though Spurs are paying fortunes in wages to the players.
Imagine Walker in the England dressing room telling Kane and Ali what he earns
I like Spurs and Poch ( can't stand Levy ) but for their own sake they need to kick on

I do find it somewhat amusing the Spurs are actually being vilified in the press for NOT spending money. SKY & the media need to transfer window to help sell click bait & justify fans spending £100 a month on their football subscriptions.

People like Conte, Guardiola & Maureen are scared rotten that Spurs will win the title without 'splashing the cash' & proving you don't need to spend £100s of millions every season. They would have to justify their modus operandi to their employers.

I am happy with how we conduct our business, i think we will add 1-3 new players to strengthen the squad. We don't really need starters.

While I agree the market has gone crazy it is what it is
All Spurs rivals for the title have strengthened some considerably
Do you not feel that if Spurs came up short the last 2 years ( the Leicester year was in my opinion their best ever chance of a title ) that next season may see them come up short if they don't improve.
Playing at Wembley may well have a negative effect as well
I'd hate to see Spurs not kick on
I'd like to see them break the City/Manure/Chelsea grip on the league
My fear would be as I said if they don't do it soon they will lose Kane Ali etc.
They obviously need to change something to win the league , what though is the question ??

La Liga getting involved in stopping the Neymar deal is everything I need.

Don't know if you know of him but Flav - one of your fans on the internet like Arsenal Fan TV - nailed it yesterday. More or less everything you've said there and all.

Your squad is dead sound and youse could do with depth but it doesn't need 100-150 million spending on it.

While I understand your point of view, I think @Brisan123 echoed my sentiment that such a view is underpinned by a level of complacency.

Don't get me wrong, your starting XI is pretty darn strong but the fact you've not actually won the league suggests it could/should still improve.

Your showing in the Champions League was also not the most extravagant, although I know the ol' Wembley effect will be touted as a factor.

Levy is a smart chairman so I'm sure you will add and precedent suggest he usually acts in August, yet I do think you must not be too frugal.

Adding depth to your bench would be a cost-effective method, supporting Kane and Son for example, which could then help fund the stadium.

But will that be enough when other clubs are strengthening their starting XI? Why not bring in better players and some starters can move down?

Conte and co. are probably worried of your challenge on a much smaller budget and yes Sky have their own reasons, but don't get stuck in a mode.

My sentiments exactly but more elequently put
Even watching that video the 2 lads are sound
They seem to know their football and are not over the top
But to think you cannot improve your first eleven when you didn't win the league is a complacent
Even Real ,Bayern and Barca try and improve every year.
One salient point from that video was the fact that they doubted Poch is the transfer market and even said that Poch may doubt himself.
Maybe the purchase of Jansen and Sissoko has tempered Poch ambitions in the transfer window

The point about Pochettino and transfers is a good one and one I hadn't considered.

Jansen sticking around as Kane's backup then? Thought he might be replaced considering he can't score goals anywhere besides the penalty spot.
