read on sky sports earlier that they were keeping tabs, surely he could get a better club? Just media BS that he's been a flop there, they've over analysed everything bad he's done and brushed anything good under the carpet, he was definitely better than pogba last season, that's for sure. i think any club whom writes a player off after just one season is silly tbh, especially young players.

they don't really need to strengthen anywhere really, but i can see why people would think they need to strengthen there. They don't have a great backup option for kane, but son has stepped in very well and they paid a fair bit for janssen so understandably don't want to throw the towel in just yet. There's hardly any team who has two brilliant backup options to their man striker tbf.

Big difference between brilliant and no goals away from the spot. Son really isn't a backup for Kane, but yeah he did step up in a big way last season. Vinny J might come good, but if I was looking at their squad I'd have questions about what happens if Kane goes down for any real time. They're going to have a lot of matches this season. Compared to Chelsea, if they could have a Batshuayi like replacement or even a Remy, it might be good as a safety blanket for them.

I do find it somewhat amusing the Spurs are actually being vilified in the press for NOT spending money. SKY & the media need to transfer window to help sell click bait & justify fans spending £100 a month on their football subscriptions.

People like Conte, Guardiola & Maureen are scared rotten that Spurs will win the title without 'splashing the cash' & proving you don't need to spend £100s of millions every season. They would have to justify their modus operandi to their employers.


I am happy with how we conduct our business, i think we will add 1-3 new players to strengthen the squad. We don't really need starters.

If we don't sign a RB then Kyle Walker-Peters will get game time. I think Cameron Carter Vickers at CH is some way off yet (loan?). Shayon Harrison loaks like a decent striker prospect. Marcus Edwards is a hot prospect but very young and small. Luke Amos, Anthony Georgiou and Will Miller also have a chance but again, next season probably too soon for them.

We sold him for 75m....the 15m add-ons may never come.... So if an average full back is now worth 50m, shouldn't the 2nd top goalscorer in the league be worth a helluva lot more?.....

they're apparently a bit of a given (the add on's), plus it gave us rooney for free. Walker has been the best RB in the league last few years, so although i don't like him, he is the best in his position. Lukaku may be the 2nd best goalscorer, but he's definitely not the 2nd best striker in the league.
