Other Clubs Summer Transfer Speculation

@sbates_peopIe: Sunday Sport Exclusive: United already agreed 5 transfers for the summer. Clyne, Ings, Hummels, Depay, Tolisso(CM from Lyon)
wouldn't surprise me after the massive criticisms of recent windows if they did most of their business stupidly early this time. With perhaps a couple of big names appearing later if they move at all.

It is the Mirror so even more than the usual pinch of salt for a transfer rumour

David De Gea has "said yes to Real Madrid," journalist Josep Pedrerol has claimed on Spanish television channel La Sexta.
The Champions League quarter-finalists have long been linked with a move for the 24-year-old, and with his contract ticking down it has been evermore likely that De Gea would leave the Old Trafford club.

And today's reports suggest that, after months of speculation , PFA Player of the Year nominee De Gea has agreed a move to the Bernabeu despite the presence of club legend Iker Casillas.

"David De Gea has said yes to Madrid," it begins. "The Manchester United goalkeeper wants to wear the white of Real Madrid from next season. The club considered many options for the goalkeeping situation but have decided on De Gea.And David De Gea is clear... he wants to be the Real Madrid goalkeeper.

"One of the problems had been the future (or not) of Iker Casillas but this is no longer an impediment to the signing of De Gea.

"Only an agreement between the clubs is lacking."

The report, on afternoon show Jugones, has also claimed that a poor relationship between Louis van gaal and his goalkeeper is one of the principal reasons for the Spaniard opting to up sticks and return to his homeland.

Having seen Ings and Austin in the flesh, I'm glad Manu are getting Ings. He is inferior to Austin and needs more chances to score.

If as rumours in the London papers are true, then the Saints will be getting themselves a good striker.

The only Arsenal rumours doing the rounds are Milner is Spurs or Arsenal bound depends on who gives him a 4 yr contract and Schneiderlin is Arsenal bound bar a Maureen hijack job. Yohan Kebab is our cut price £10m back up plan if saints won't lower the £25m asking price.

No prizes for guessing which of those rumours our tight wad board will go for. Why can't we just buy Pogba,Cech and Higuain. It's not like the can't afford it.

Haven't you heard mate, Higuain is on a short list of possibles as (wait for it) cover for Daniel Sturridge.

Someone should tell him that, as goalie, he won't be wearing white.

Looks like this one is happening.

Which is irritating as it's the only one I didn't mention in the opening post of the thread because it seemed unlikely!
Ha, can understand why you might have been skeptical, he's had bad injury problems hasn't he? Gambling on someone coming back from injury hasn't worked out so well with the Falcao loan.

You'd think with Smalling/Jones/Evans, and now Rojo, having the robustness of wet tissue paper that they would also want a reliably fit CB but they seen really keen on Hummels as well.

Gundogen is a proper boss midfielder by yeah think he's still coming back for some serious injury.

Think Hummels will happen too.
