Probably. Very messy transfer though.
It appears that SCBC had an option to buy him after his loan season for £6.8,m (?) but Athletico were able to cancel it for a fee but they missed the deadline. Athletico agreed a £11mn fee with Spurs but SCBC think they have the right to buy him at the lower price & are (according to media reports) playing hardball.
What will probably happen is that we will buy him off SCBC for £11mn & they will pocket the difference or just take the difference as a 'fee'.

Koeman would probably love Schneiderlin to move to Arsenal rather than United given he hates LVG but will Arsenal really outbid Utd for a player? Or the player refuse Utd's likely higher wages?

To be fair to him when he took over we were mid-table fodder. Under ENIC we have averaged 6th over the last 10 years and 5th over the last 6yrs. We are run at a profit with a small 36k stadium and we are getting a new 61k ground in 3yrs time.

He ain't perfect but we could do a lot worse.
