Other Clubs Summer Transfer Speculation

hearing benteke may be going to united for 32.5 million pounds. Cannot imagine what Rom is worth then.

@MOgdenTelegraph: LVG confirm Valdes to be sold because 'does not fit our philosophy.' Claims he refused to play in reserves last season.
Must be a bit of a knob going to United and expecting to be played over De Gea, to be quite honest.

Then to refuse to play in the reserves when you were clearly being signed to be backup  What a div.

Seems like a trouble maker.

especially when you are coming back from an ACL injury like Valdes was you should really welcome any playing time to get match fit.

There were rumours he fell out with Barca's sporting director before leaving there as well.

Van Gaal has been an a-hole in the past so it's quite possible he said he'd play him in the cups but then played De Gea. Bit silly refusing to play in the reserves, he'll probably end up at Spurs when De Gea heads off to Madrid and Lloris heads to old Trafford.

LVG hung Valdes out to dry there, well and truly.

He refused to play for the reserves LAST YEAR, so why bring it up now?

Doesn't seem very wise too when De Gea's position is unknown.

haha he's a keeper not a bloody playmaker

He's a bit of a drill sergeant isn't he. His teams are really controlled.

You can see why he gets on so well with Maureen. They both have the same shelf life with clubs because there's only so long that players can stomach the drill sergeant routine before they start to resent the manager. I remember reading about the Arsenal back 4 and how they hated the routine George Graham made them go through but stomached it whilst they won stuff.
