Yeah his championship record and youth pedigree are enough to justify this. It isn't in the same class as Ibe and Solanke who Kopite Eddie bought despite there being evidence that they weren't PL level.
A genuine question here: where is the evidence that Brewester is currently playing at PL level?

While he's played well in the Championship with Swansea, he's not played a PL game and only has a handful of appearances for the RS in total, with no goals.

Mix the lack of appearences with the fact they're selling him on, so while yes there's a buy back clause etc. for me the jury is still way out on him.

He may thrive for United and it could be a great deal for them, but I'm still very sceptical.

Not saying there is. I'm just saying that at least there isn't evidence that he's not.

Aye, that's true. Still, you could counter that with Ibe and Solanke having played fairly regularly for the RS before they moved, so arguably they had some potential.

I'm not saying they were as they never really performed and Bournemouth were well and truly taken to the cleaners, but £20m ish for Brewster is properly suspect.

Begrudgingly, you've got to give the RS officials credit for being ale to offload their rubbish for good fees - I wish we could.

Sort of transfer related and not deserving of its own thread but ..

Bit of a weird one this but Sky are banning their reporters from eating meat on TDD in an “effort (for Sky) to be carbon neutral by 2030” . Reporters are also being encouraged to use public transport and no single use plastics

Surely if they fancy a bacon butty, it’s up to them?

Spend all summer chasing and then missinmg out on the most exciting young wide man in Europe... to suddenly try and sign a 33yr old striker in desperation at the end.

Utd are a shambles
