Other Clubs Summer Transfer Window 2020

Yes, for the first time in over a decade there is a fair chance that Spurs will finish outside the top 6.
Wolves not playing european football may get them higher but as Leicester are in Europe I think they may also struggle to stay top 6.
Looking at all the the teams not good enough to have European football nights as a distraction, I can't see any of those improving enough to higher than Spurs.

Spurs benefit more than any other team from not having home fans in attendance. Just give us the title now.

So we(Villa) have been linked with Milot Rashica from Bremen. Thought that there would be bigger teams in for him this transfer window.

Yes, it surprises me the teams linked with him, no offense to Aston Villa, but Rashica would have been a player I expected to either go to a bigger German team, or to a top half team in the PL - maybe not as guaranteed starter, but certainly someone who could play good minutes for clubs in European competition. He was strongly linked with RB Leipzig, but they seem to be unable to spend much at the moment, like a lot of clubs I suspect, so could not agree a fee with Werder Bremen.

Very talented and versatile player, who even on a struggling Bremen team, put up good numbers.

You will have a lot less hate and a lot more happiness when Uncle Ussi soon starts spending some of he's billions and propels your own team into the Champions League.
Prefer they just start the Super League at this point. Football is hopeless otherwise.

Seems like you need a bit of his cheddar to get yourselves there too!

As we've recently had a good few years in the Champions League, to make some here less hateful and instead more happy, I'm happy for Everton to take our place.

Not the most consistent of players. Perhaps that's what puts the bigger teams off.
yep, though I'd say it's pretty hard to play at a constantly good level when your team is very much struggling (like Bremen did this year). Rumors have him linked with us, Wolves, and Monaco (when RB Leipzig stopped going after him due to finances)

I think that is the kind of player our owners are looking to sign — they want us to be challenging for European competitions (HAH that won't be any time soon). I also am surprised that a top 6 club, specifically Arsenal actually, didn't come after him as he seems to be relatively cheap for the PL (~25mil) and that put off Leipzig. Otherwise, I wouldn't think he'd fit in some of the other clubs (a Burnley, Sheffield United, Newcastle etc). The pulling power (cough financial cough) of any PL side is also vastly outweighing a vast majority of the rest of European clubs.

I'm also hopeful this isn't a jinx, but I could see him being signed as a "ready made" Grealish replacement should Man United 'bully' us into selling him for £80mil.
