He’d be a really good signing for you if this gets done!

He is such a fun player to watch. Ideally you would have him and Grealish, there is certainly a way both can be in he same team. Rashica is quite comfortable playing all across the forward and attacking mid positions.
Oh yeah I'd love him. Would definitely be a statement of intent from us I think. And yes him and Grealish in the team would be absolutely amazing. We still would need an out and out winger as well I think though.

And to think this all started when Marvelous Nakamba (one of our signings from last summer) posted a tbt picture with Rashica on Tuesday — they were former teammates so apparently get on well.

Whats the score with Luiz? He seemed a different player after lockdown. Was it a case of growing into the league or has he been decent all season?

He has been a very interesting case (I believe i wrote something on here that if we had gotten relegated, he would make a lot of sense for y'all... similar to the Gueye deal when we went down a few years ago). For the entire season, we could tell that there was a lot of quality with him but there were also occasional hiccups and lapses in concentration. The usual for a young talented player coming into the PL. Even going back to our second game of the year (vs Bournemouth) I believe might have been his debut. He had just received the ball at the edge of our box and one of their players shouted for him to leave it and he did. Directly led to a goal for them, but then had a worldly goal in the second half (had a few goals from similar positions throughout the year).

Dean Smith and Luiz himself both came out and said that he really knuckled down and took a bunch of english classes and passed english tests. I definitely think that was probably the major factor in him being such a different player after lockdown.

Those can't be real quotes. Does Villa have their own @chicoazul ?

This window is proper weird nothing has really happened and it feels like some clubs are waiting on certain teams or players to be sold/bought to start a domino effect.
