Last 2 seasons.
Kevin De Bruyne: 46 g/a James Maddison: 39 g/a Martin Ødegaard: 33 g/a Bruno Fernandes: 32 g/a
Last season: relegated.

Leicester 2-1 Everton, 45 minutes in, the most critical moment of the season - a penalty to Leicester. James Maddison...Oops.

And that was merely one moment in a complacent, feckless, not-arsed and entitled season from Maddison. Basically, he didn't fancy it. In a team sport, he couldn't lift the players around him.

The truth is when this fella had to step up and prove himself a great player, he went missing. He's the very definition of a sunshine boy. Spurs fans will love him. He's everything they want in a player: glamorous, stylish, flatters to deceive when the pressure's on. The type of player who will get you fifth when fourth was in the bag - and look great doing it.

A very interesting player

I thought he would really kick on but he never really got going, reminds me of Gray.

Not helped by getting £100k a week at 20 and then shedloads of other midfielders coming in.
Yeah he’s still quite young though so hopefully he can find a good club and get his career on track. But got some work to do

Napoli being ravaged by the euro elite. Wonder who’s next out of the door.

Also, looking through Romano’s tweets he mentions United / Onana. Can easily see them coming in and paying over the odds for him.
Their President De Laurentiis is tough negotiator, firmly in Levy category. Also in past their stars were relatively loyal/unsellable like Hamsik, Insignie, Mertens......

If/when likes of Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia go, its gonna be for massive amount of money, not to mention Napoli signed Osimhen for 80 million few years ago and his value only gone up

They could be in trouble for that Osimhen deal, very dodgy how they reported it, and the actualy details around it.

They only actually paid around £45 million, they added 4 unkown players in the deal with stupid values....only for Lille to let them go on free transfers since...one has even retired....madness.

Think people have been arrested for it.

  • Orestis Karnezis: €4.8 million
  • Ciro Palmieri: €7 million
  • Claudio Manzi: €4 million
  • Luigi Liguori: €4 million

Assume he meant the Inter keeper but dont know for sure.

I don't understand what Leicester are doing. It was well documented that you lose at least 100m in revenue if you go down, which is why Everton would've needed a massive fire sale. Leicester aren't miles better than us financially, so even if they just pocketed the Maddison 40m it wouldn't touch the sides of what they need just to balance the books. Spending almost half of it right away on Winks and Coady is insane.

They went down because they didn't believe they could get relegated, and it feels like they still haven't accepted they have been.
