Rice for over 100m is grim

Maddison is such a spurs player, it’s like he was born to play there. He’ll flit in and out of games and be a hero one week and a waste of money the next.
Havertz for £65m is nuts as well. If that is the market these days we have no chance

I think he's a talented player, too. But I have no doubt that he lacks character - as his performances, last season, as the main man in a team that desperately needed his leadership proved. A sunshine boy - which makes him an ideal Spurs player.
Last 2 seasons.
Kevin De Bruyne: 46 g/a James Maddison: 39 g/a Martin Ødegaard: 33 g/a Bruno Fernandes: 32 g/a

If he stays injury free that is a good buy. Better than any player we have bought in the last decade

Some clubs just have types. I was watching a ManU match with a friend about a year ago, and he pointed at Scott McTominay and said "he'll join you lot in the future, and be your captain". Would be just the perfect example of the type of stupid move we'd make, and yet its hard to argue that if it happened, he wouldn't improve us. We're just that bad.
