I think he's a talented player, too. But I have no doubt that he lacks character - as his performances, last season, as the main man in a team that desperately needed his leadership proved. A sunshine boy - which makes him an ideal Spurs player.

I’m just not sure what he does or where he fits. People say he’s a 10 but Odegaard is twice the player imo. He’s not a 9 and no better there than what they already have. Waste of money imo.

If he stays injury free that is a good buy. Better than any player we have bought in the last decade

Some clubs just have types. I was watching a ManU match with a friend about a year ago, and he pointed at Scott McTominay and said "he'll join you lot in the future, and be your captain". Would be just the perfect example of the type of stupid move we'd make, and yet its hard to argue that if it happened, he wouldn't improve us. We're just that bad.
