A strategy that worked very well for them last summer
If it doesnt work well this season though it could have bigger ramifications than just getting relegated, they would have 5000 players with still 3/4 years left on their contract with a lot of them on PL wages.

But by staying up this year they now have 3 years guaranteed para payments as opposed to two. That will be enough to cover their costs and they have also got a few players with a high resale value now if they wanted to sell the. MGW and Brennan are 40m+ players. The Forest recruitment team should be earning their bonuses as they are doing a great job and proving it with results.

I think they will stay up based on the fact the PL this season is as weak as its ever been IMO, half of it is championship quality.

The 3 promoted teams of last year staying up will certainly change the dynamic with the bottom 8 and relegation is going to be very interesting and a good watch. Equally, the top half teams all seem to be investing heavily and the two that had poor seasons last time (Chelsea and Spurs) have both changed managers and have got what I believe are very good managers so they will be a threat next season. Another enjoyable year of PL football is ahead of us.
I agree, I think Forest will stay up, they have some good players and a good manager. Luton look doomed and Sheff United will probably drop. Burnley will be the darlings of Sky as they love what Kompany is doing, I have no idea who will join Luton and Blades in relegation

I see Chelsea as Citys closest rivals this season and i see Spurs struggling badly especially if Kane goes.

Im going with City-Chelsea-Utd and Arsenal and Liverpool battling for the 4th spot.
Newcastle Villa and Brighton for the EL spots

Relegation Luton Sheff Utd and Bournemouth

Dead easy to say that now. History will see.

The England captain leaving the Premier League is a big story

I'm surprised Man United aren't really going after Kane

I'm not sure what Kane would personally prefer

Either you play for Bayern Munich or Man United

There's no losing in that scenario, both are big clubs

I think Kane just wants to win something and Bayern will let him achieve that. I don't think Levy could stomach selling Kane to another PL club and it would be daft to let him leave on a free next year and it would rub salt in the wound if he joined Chelsea or Man U so Bayern, Barca and Madrid look like the realistic options. Barca can't afford him and Madrid are focused on Mbappe so Bayern looks to be the only party in town
