There are clearly some decent deals out there to be done Berge to Burnley for circa £15m is very decent. I think he’s only 25.
Max Aarons for under £10m is also good. Not sure how old he is but I guarantee he’ll still be playing for England u21s when he gets to 29

A big emphasis on some: I think he'll smash the first few years and will score lots of goals for them, but in terms of longevity I do think it holds some risk.

They're putting a lot of money for him to hopefully do this, if they have the rest of the surrounding squad, because there'll be little resale value.

Juve spent that on Ronaldo who scored a butt load of goals. I don't think resale value matters on some players when they're guaranteed goals. He will legit score like 40+ in that league and push them far in the CL. Commercially he'll be big for the club and they have enough resale around him to make it up.

Plus in 2023 is ~£85m really a lot of money for a superstar?
