They look to have improved but no way are they better than squads like Villa or Newcastle

Their backup CB's are 28 and 26, full-back cover is older, midfield cover same age, 2 young wingers signed (22 and 18) and then need a younger striker.

Don't think over a 3 year period they'd have to break the bank to refresh. Players don't die at 30.

It wouldn’t be popular but if we got north of £100m for the pair (£65m Guehi, £40m Andersen) then that’s decent business. We have already bought one in who looks really good ( Moroccan international Chadi Road from Real Betis) and linked with Chalobah and a couple of lads that Glasner playing in the Bundesliga knows and likes. So, we have an alternative plan, which for us is unheard of.

They may not die at 30 but their resale value isnt the same, they move or wind contracts down.

From your list there they need a new striker, a CM, and a LB, in 3 years...
