He's played in a double pivot #6 position for Lyon, his game isn't about goals.

He's like a hybrid of a really good DM with excellent forward passing, covers loads of ground, ridiculous high rate of winning the ball back, his stats of pressures, interceptions and progressive passes are way way ahead of every Ligue One midfielder, he had a ridiculously large lead in those categories.

Newcastle have got themselves a really good controller in the middle of the pitch, he's not flashy or scores goals, but he'll be one of their most important players in their fantastic lineup in about 2-3 seasons time.
