I would spend more than that at the back on younger players and pass Sancho, personally. This is not because I think Sancho is an overpay. It's because I don't think it's what they need.

I mean, Barca in their pomp had Puyol, Pique and Busquets as the spine behind Messi, Iniesta and Xavi. Trying to bury the opponent in goals with a duct-taped defense behind them is not a winning strategy.

There doesn’t seem to be much of a plan with Spurs and all that Kane cash. They need 1-2 defenders, reasonable, yet are heavily linked with multiple who all are very, very different.

I think whatever we do, Godfrey needs to start.

For the fee spurs would want i think we could find better than Sanchez...Mina also only has 2 years left on his deal so that needs resolving.

Cant help but feel we need a top notch starter next to Godfrey -- Mina just has too many small injuries.

Romero is a great buy for spurs though...their new DOF working his magic.

The Spurs DoF was shocking at Juve, he was shambolic replacing the great Giuseppe Marotta, who's doing his fine work at Inter now who just dethroned Juve, look at his deals at Inter the last 2-3 seasons, Hakimi Barella, Lakaku, Lautaro, they had aging squad and retooled it with younger players where as Paratici bought aging players and now they have a old bloated squad.

Paratici was being laughed at for the shocking deal selling Romero to Atalanta for peanuts, luckily for him he can fix that deal by saving face and signing him for Spurs, but the records will always show he sold him in the first place.

De Ligt hasn't been great, Demeral awful, Arthur a disaster, Kulusevski the jury is out and Ronaldo for the fee and wages still no CL there, then players like Ramsay who was already injury prone and Rabiot who's not been great, Can was a flop.

Under Paratici Juve bought terribly, he really needs to improve his game at Spurs because they will be getting a influx of cash from the Kane sale.

Gil looks promising, but that's about it for now, if he comes good, he'll be El Cassico bound when the finances will be better, it's like these signings are about flipping them for profit in 2-3 seasons time.

They have so many holes, Lloris is getting on and not getting better, entire back 4 is terrible, they need more than Romero, midfield is workmanlike and nothing special, Ndombele has flopped, Deli Alli doesn't care anymore and they haven't replaced Eriksen still, and they have to replace Kane's goals.

If they have any sense Spurs should get Vlahovic from Fiorentina, he's a classic #9 and only 21, he's be a great young replacement for Kane, Vlahovic and son would compliment each other.

I think Ndombele could be useful for some managers but not Jose and not Nuno
