Other clubs transfers 2021

The financial package is crazy for Haaland, massive signing on fee, 500k wages, and £ 20 million each for Raiola and Haaland's Dad.

Chelsea tried to get the jump start for him before his clause kicks in next summer, they tried to get a deal, wages agreed , fee very close, but Raiola was making it difficult, as he wants the deal done next summer with more clubs involved increasing his agent commission with clubs more desperate.
It might complicate things but these clubs have the money

So upsetting that it appeared that the 14 other clubs last season had a once in a lifetime opportunity to try and kneecap the so-called big six yet completely walked away from any responsibility and now these clubs are effectively leaving everyone for dead with their spending anyway.

I know Manchester City have been the only thing recently saving us all from Kopite doom but they are such a scummy club. The lengths they have gone to to avoid FFP is just incredulous and they absolutely need to be brutally sanctioned.

When Juventus, Barca and Real Madrid spout off about the "Super League saving football" what they really mean is saving Italian and Spanish football. There already is a Super League. It's called the Premier League.

I remember saying years ago that once Messi and Ronaldo are gone from La Liga it's going to struggle to compete with the Prem. I think it's already happened. Sad, sad state of affairs, but the powerful people in Spanish football only have themselves to blame.
Wanted to come back to this. I think this exactly hits the nail on the head with why the non PL teams wanted the Super League. All of the teams involved were in some sort of financial mess and pretty much any PL team would be able to match offers for players (except the likes of the genuine world class players Messi/Ronaldo etc).. And the two major European clubs not involved don't have the same financial worry that the others did (Bayern/PSG). It's like they didn't even think that other clubs could catch up to them financially if they just spent a ton of money on players who didn't work out

Villa had a preseason game today vs Saternitana and we paid more for our record signing in the first season back in PL (Wesley) than their squad is worth according to transfermarkt

Bit of a myth this isn't it? Kit manufacturers take like 90% of the profits from any sales, be amazed if any clubs make more than a few million
This. Madrid and Barça have been using that myth to justify enormous outlays for years. I've got a Barça supporting friend who insists Messi generated more money than the club were paying him. I suggested that he might be generating the money but it wasn't for the club.

Marca had a article about the Messi factor helping them commercially and the money he brought in, also added that most if their commercial deals had Messi clauses and will be reduced if Messi isn't at the club.

Messi image right payments rewarded him well, both made a lot of money.

PSG will get those Messi fanboys supporting them now and will see a lot of social media numbers go up and new commercial deals, same way Juve benefitted with Ronaldo.
