Happy to see him go to a place he was enjoyed and loved by the fans, felt he deserved a season in our midfield, I mean christ, he's above elneny, but with Lokonga, Xhaka, and Partey to come back maybe it was a tall order for him.

£25m + Add-ons on top of a sell on clause, is not bad, but not great buisness.

Hopefully that goes towards a CM or to the maddison trust fund, knowing how daft Arteta and Edu are that is Ramsdale paid for.

I just think he is a good little player who will score goals at this level and he could at least play at mid table level, something which I don't think Saints will be, I expect them to go down this season tbh. We will see I guess.

Armstrong will struggle unless he’s become an awful lot stronger on the ball. He’s very quick and can take a chance (other than when he played 1st team for NUFC), but he’s very small and was constantly bullied out of the big. Wish the lad luck.
