Why would anyone feel sorry for them? Selling players just results in someone from the youth system stepping up, and puts better players in the youth system because their parents / agents know its an almost guaranteed way of getting playing time and a big move at the end of it. Meanwhile they get stuffed with cash.

As business models go its light years ahead of anything in the Premier League.
They're still successful in their domestic setting, which is a huge part of what fans desire, and have in recent years reached two European finals along the way.

There has been peaks and troughs and you would expect with more to come, but as a fan base I don't think they will be too unhappy with their business model.

Well, bar failure to get a European title after reaching said finals., but even then it's a lot more than most teams have experienced.

Add a few million onto that and utd would be silly not to let him go. Only losing 20 to 15 million would be a result and Inter will be left with a quickly devaluing asset when the goals dry up in Italy.

He can still turn his career around but at the minute it looks like we have had the best of him and that sale was good business even if we never adequately replaced him.

Here is all the latest ITK nonsense on Spurs.

Lo Celso - basically done
R. Sessengnon - basically done
S. Sessengnon - basically done and will be loaned back next season

Onomah to Fulham as part of Sessengnon deal
Janssen - going to Monterey/medical Monday
Eriksen - going to sign a 3/4 year deal with £90-£100m release clause
Rose - LFC & PSG interested but staying at Spurs until Jan
Alderweireld - seeing out his contract and going to Ajax on a free

& Marcus Edwards to QPR once Maupay has gone.

On the flipside, if he loses weight he will be back to being a 20 goal a season striker and they can sell him for more next season
