I'm not sure who thought Veron would work in the English league. He had about half the time on the ball he'd had anywhere else in his career.

Well Sanchez is just bad player, he was terrible everywhere after leaving Benfica, huge dud by Bayern, Sahin was another weird case, ha failed everywhere after leaving Dortmund, Kovacic on another hand is eternal talent who never made that step up that everyone expected, not in Inter, not in Real and not in Chelsea and i doubt he ever will, i'm from Croatia i could tell you he was bad everytime he played for our national team, there is good reason he is almost never in first 11

That's what I mean, these are all highly rated to be world class at a young age, get that big move which they flop at, then move to the prem on loan for a year, get labelled as a could be massive coup
