Well Sanchez is just bad player, he was terrible everywhere after leaving Benfica, huge dud by Bayern, Sahin was another weird case, ha failed everywhere after leaving Dortmund, Kovacic on another hand is eternal talent who never made that step up that everyone expected, not in Inter, not in Real and not in Chelsea and i doubt he ever will, i'm from Croatia i could tell you he was bad everytime he played for our national team, there is good reason he is almost never in first 11
