I wonder if that defence may start to creak a little. Questions around the fullbacks. Lloris seems to have dipped, alderweireld wanted away and both him and vertonghen are getting on, although they have Sanchez in the wings.

Spurs fan on TalkSport saying the next two seasons (including this one) will require a massive change across the back as they’re on the decline.

Rose will be off with Toby, while Jan Vertonghen is getting pretty old now; Tripier has already gone as well and didn’t rate Sanchez. @Yid4life?

You could say we're weaker defensively with the loss of Maguire but we got a great deal and in all honesty he wasn't very good last season. Perez looks like an overpayment on the face of it but he offers us great versatility and has looked sharp in the friendlies. Don't know much about Praet and I'm surprised by that we have signed another midfielder as we're stacked in that department

Yep. Alderweireld will leave on a free next summer (probably back to Ajax). Rose unlikely to be offered a new deal because of his age & the same for Vertonghen.

So yes, Back line will probably eventually be KWP (RB spot his to claim this season), Sanchez, Foyth & Davies.

Although i think we will be active in the Jan window for defenders.

I think Sanchex & Foyth were bought a couple of seasons back with this in mind.
