We’ll do well to challenge them if they’re miles better. They should be looking at top 4 really.

Rodgers had them for the last 10 games and got 17 points, we were probably at our best in the last 10 but got a point less than they managed. Rodgers is a far better fit for them than Puel was and I think they’d have comfortably finished above us had they had Rodgers and Tielemans in for the whole season.

Do you think? Do you reckon they’d have smashed the top 6 then, because we really weren’t that far behind Wolves?

How many times have we seen new managers have a boss run at the end of the season? Let’s just wait and see before declaring Rodgers a managerial god. Let’s see what happens when Vardy’s legs disintegrate in the next 18 months.

Rodgers will be the new Pellegrini from last season. As soon as we lose our first game and Leicester pound someone like Sheffield United 4-0, it’ll be “we should’ve gone for Brenny la”
