would like RM to start think about bringing some new faces in for us hope its not a case of waits for bid for felliani first

patience mate. i'd rather be patient than make things really quick all to pay £16m for ****ing andy caroll. i genuinly don't believe there was any interest from newcastle, think liverpool have conned WHU there. still a £20m decrease, but i fail to see what carroll has done in his career to merit £50m worth of transfer fees. 6 year contract of 100k a week ffs, what's wrong with them?

Staggering to think West Ham United, back in the Premier League for five minutes, are about to spend 15m on Andy Carroll and give him - an injury-prone forward who hasn't really proven anything in the top division yet - a gigantic 100k a week six-year contract. They're throwing 50m at him fee, wages and all. That is just unbelievable. Surely they could use those wages and fee to sign two or three big-name players from abroad? Completely mad.

Cant believe they bailed the rs out, West Ham must be mental in giving him such a huge contact.

Huge contract but I would imagine Big Sam will base his whole team around him and he will be their main man, to be fair I thought he looked half decent at Newcastle, the King and that 35 million transfer fee didn't help him at the RS

The best part of this is that Brendan is merrily spending the Carroll money - what little they didnt write off - on players who would actually work well with Carroll in the side. Coutinho on one side, Atsu on the other with Aspas as a support striker playing off Carroll would score goals.

Thought the same myself

No, that just shows you how f**king useless they are, that it is not insane to consider a 'mere' £20 million loss a good deal, but it is, because they got a huge earner off the books quickly for an inflated fee. He is not worth £15 million.

Not sure any side with Carroll in it will be scoring a ton of goals in the premier league.

It's a massive massive gamble. One the one hand, if he does well and his value increases then west ham will be quids in because his long contract means they will sell him for profit. But if he just ends up being injury prone and sh1t, then they are fooked. What is with geordie-related stories this wk...
