doesnt matter if its june 20th mate potential targets are getting snapped up mertens would of been brilliant he's gone, how long before your bony's your diame's your moses's etc. go people forget our lads need to adapt to a totally new formation/style of play so RM needs to get everyone in quick and get the team gelled look at the RS start of the season signings come in later and their players struggled to adapt to the tiki taka ****e we need to make sure we are 100% ready for norwich away not waiting for someone to trigger felliani's release clause

i don't think our players will need much time to adapt to the new style, we have a lot of good footballers already, they just weren't allowed to express themselves wholly as a group

say RM plays a 3-5-2 or 4-3-3 the lads are all gonna have to adapt to be in different positions/ linking up with different players and bringing in signings later on will only make that tougher imo RM needs to put the mic down and get his arse to finch farm on his lunch break to sign some players man

i really don't think he'll play 3 at the back tbh. they're proffesional footballers being payed thousands a week, there's something wrong if they can only play in one formation - this isn't ultimate team.

i know we hardly ever changed formation under moyes, but these are all lads that will go off on interntional duty and play numerous formations, it really shouldn't be a problem

Reading have completed the signing of former Real Madrid midfielder Royston Drenthe for an undisclosed fee.
The 26-year-old has joined from Russian side Alania Vladikavkaz on a two-year contract with an option of a third.
Having begun his career at Feyenoord, the Dutchman joined Real in 2007 for £12m and went on to have loan spells at Spanish second division side Hercules and Everton before moving to Russia.
The move is subject to international clearance from the Russian FA.
