Considering they signed Coutinho and Sturridge who now will have settled in, added to the other players they have brought in so far, apart from all looking a bit light weight, I think when they click they could be a very decent unit next season.

Why?

They will lose Suarez who is a 25 goal a season striker, To fill his place they have Borini or Aspas who to put it lightly are average at best

They have a Seville/Barca B reject and an over the hill center back to replace the over the hill center back that retired

Apart from that they have the same team that finished below us last season

Agree with Del here.

They've actually not strengthend their starting line up at all.

Neither have we mind you but that's for a different thread.

Yes, they will lose Suarez but will replace him with Mkhitaryan by the look of it.....add Aspas, Sturridge and Coutinho and I reckon they could do some damage.

Never said they were going to be world beaters Del, just a tidy unit on their day and I reckon they will be very pleasing on the eye.

Swansea and Cardiff significantly strengthening their striking options:

What's Spanish for "we'll go with what we've got" ???

what's spanish for the transfer market hasn't even opened yet, chill the **** out?

anyone else find it a bit amusing that moyes is finally at a club that will provide him with significant funds and he heads straight for defenders. That right back, garay and now baines - no need to buy an exciting winger or two much needed centre midfielders - make £30m worth of defending purchases - classic

Malaga getting stripped of their best player by an elitist club.

Same old, same old.

Modern football is a sad state.

Not really the point I was trying to make.

Malaga, Dortmund, Napoli, us! getting their best players taken by the Bayerns, Madrids and Manchesters of this world.

The new FFP thingy will kick in now soon enough, put an end to all that carry on:unsure:
