Poor defense too. Know very little about the majority of their new signings although I expect Giaccherini to make an impact. Wad brilliant in CONFED'S cup.

Although I do kind of partly blame the lousy media coverage of this transfer. Most people don't watch Serie A so simply being told he's a striker with a 1 in 3 scoring rate, well you'd be forgiven for thinking he was just that! He's got so much to his game though and I'm sad that those horrible city fans will get to see him play for them.

Erm my 1 in 3 comment wasnt about his scoring rate, it was about his showing up rate.

A 1 in 3 player is quite good, clearly not as good as a 1 in 1 player such as Baines, but much better than a 1 in 38 player like Danny Welbeck.
 
When Jovetic first came on the scene he looked a top class player in the making, he has just come off a very average season playing for Fiorentina so this coming season is a big one for him.

Oh I see. Well yeah, I'd say he's more of a 4/5 in 6 player to be honest, but I take your point. He's still young though and consistency is something that only comes with age.
 

Jovetic reminds me of Bergkamp, a scorer of great goals but not a great goal scorer, the assists and all round bossness make up for it.

This is what worries me teams are improving by buying class players abroad on the cheap whereas martinez either cant seem to see past the DW stadium or we are linked with mid table standard players like that siqueria and rolando

The stats suggest Fernandinho isn't worth that, but let's be honest, who here's actually seen him play with any regularity? I haven't, so I'll be intrigued to see how it pans out.
Navas is probably worth about that much, especially in today's climate. Plus, those eyes. Phwoar.
Negredo, honestly, meh. I think Dzeko has been mistreated and you know what, I think I'd rather have him too.
Jovetic, well you never know how a player will take to a new league but I think that could well be an excellent price. He's got the potential to be world class, and is already an excellent player.

Think City or Chelsea will win it, anyway. Moyes won't do better than 3rd.
