who reckons modric utd is a go-er now? makes sense as they will need money if buying bale and fabregas deal looks dead, hopefully this will keep moyes away from fellaini

since when? they dont pay big wages? Put it this way:

Spurs
PSG
Monaco
Napoli
Man City

Clubs that you'd think would be interested in Di Maria, spot the odd one out? 4 have lots of money, 4 pay big wages, 4 play CL, 4 will be challenging for their domestic title

Spurs are just under the glass ceiling and they can break it at any time, provided they keep Bale and bring in the Striker they're hunting for

That's all they need to do and they've made it
 

No idea where this Bale saga will end. However, i am going to stick to my guns & say he will be with us next season (but definitely gone the one after - Man U rather than RM).

We have signed - Paulinho & Chadli with the Soldado deal still 'likely' for a spend of £45-50 mill (BT/Sky TV cash). We also have a lot of squad players which will be moved on for a net inflow of perhaps £20mn? (guess). If Bale stays i think we will buy at least one more quality player (LB?) but if he goes for the £86mn cash muted (or whatever the latest figures are) at least some of that will be spent on new additions.

We could start the season minus Bale but with as many as 6 new good/excellent signings. All in all i think we will put up a decent showing in 2013-2014. 5th place is ours :lol:

I think so too. The RM campaign via Marca is all about unsettling the player to hopefully sign him on better terms. I may well be wrong but at his age, the potential to get even better, with a young family who like London & a close knit family in Wales, i think he will gives Spurs another season.

Thats game over for you now. Admitting he can be sold. adrid and Marca will go into full swing.

Zidane will be in the press every day bigging Bale up advising him to join the worlds biggest club and learn off players like him and Ronaldo.

then Ramos, Pepe (insert any madrid defender) will go on about how amazing and tough it is to defend against 'an amazing player' like Bale.

finally John Toshack will be wheeled out to plead with bale to sign for Madrid, saying only a club like Madrid is good enough for Bale.

then you'll end up selling for about £60m

If they get 60/70/80m + players they'll take a giant step away from Everton and stay there for a decade.

That's just not true though, is it? He's been one of the standout players in the PL for the last two or three.

Your argument appears to be based on the first line If reports are to be believed you have given Madrid a price. I assume than that you can see the obvious flaw in your case (y).
