......I'm very happy with the signing. We've needed proper options up front. Looking at the pictures with Martinez, though, he doesn't appear to be the reported 6ft 2in but the You tube clips indicate he's got the power and pace to be a very useful acquisition. All transfers come with risk, let's hope this lad is a big success.

Mate no, Barkley on the left is dire
His previous isn't great, but I didn't know where else to accommodate the mercurial genius that is Ross in a 442. Mebbys as a roam-anywhere forward Zlatan style, but if Niasse is as good as he seems he might be, I'm looking forward to seeing him up with Rom. Ross has got all the tricks to get Baines into crossing positions, as well as being a major threat cutting inside.

Really impressed with the video, as people have said seems really happy to be here and comes over as very determined. Speaks english really well which is a great benefit for fitting in. I like the guy really hope he does well.

In 2012 Niasse was on loan to the norwegian footballclub Brann. He got sent back one month before his spell at Brann should have ended. He was not good in training or in the games with the reserves. The coahes at the reserve-team didn't think it was any point to have him playing with them, and would rather focus on local youth. He looked very uninterested. He was a cool and laid-back fellow and seemed happy to be there, despite that he didn't get any games for Brann. Since " Kim" wasn't sold as they feared, then they could release Niasse. There was no point keeping him, as he didn't contribute to the training.

His attitude has clearly improved .. maybe that was a learning curve for him , that he couldn't just get the big moves with talent alone and he needed to get his head down and graft which i think he will

could of just been something as simple as not settling well, I mean i'd never even heard of the lad b4 now so is bit of a late bloomer + moving 2 norway from senegal is a massive move when u think of the culture difference

Apparently had no formal training until 18 which is almost unheard of these days. Might explain any learning curve, in terms of putting in the effort and wrangling raw talent.

Looks to have sorted it now though. Seems a hard worker and a team player.

As raw talent as you'd see then .. got a good shot on him what I've seen in the videos for a late bloomer anyway
