Im flying into BKK tomorrow...hows the weather?

If anything Bolanos looks pretty decent on the clips and for the price seems an interesting option for us who can play a few positions perhaps...Tarashaj and him should add quality competition in the squad.

The weird one for me is the senagalese guy....

Niasse is to replace Kone mate for that left wing role - it seems to be obvious that Martinez is going down that route rather than a 'traditional' left winger, and at least gives us an option up top as well.

Bolańos looks likely to be the Naismith replacement. Tarashaj could be a great signing.

I think for all Bobby's faults, he's earned the faith of Evertonians when it comes to signing players.

I honestly don't think, relative to cost, he's made a single awful signing. McGeady has been pretty awful but cost buttons, Alcaraz wasn't very good but was on a bosman and Kone gets far too much stick and his link up play with Rom alone has repaid a lot of his fee. When he has spent what we consider large sums (£7-8m+) he's bought McCarthy, Lukaku and Funes Mori; all excellent signings and good value.

I loathe him as a tactician and a coach, but if Bobby spends serious dosh on a player, then I'm quite sure they'll be really good.

You missed out his best ever signing mate. My man Mo Besic!

I know nothing about this fella other than my brother who claims he's been boss in the europa league. But I think it's the pricetag that's the worrying part. For someone who's really only had a couple of years at any level, and it's been russia, it's a huge gamble. We need another forward of course, but when your looking in the 10-15m bracket, you expect more of a track record.

I think one thing about Roberto is that unlike Moyes, he's prepared to pay a bit extra if he really wants the player. Moyes was a bad haggler, but clearly like with Funes Mori and perhaps Rom, we went a bit higher than we would have under Moyes to make sure we got our man. If this is a similar situation then I'm okay with that, especially given the ludicrous amount we recouped for a 29 year old benchwarmer.

Barring Alcaraz who was absolute garbage. I think that's largely fair.

The proof of the pudding and all that, is when we get to see these chaps (assuming these stories are genuine) in the Royal Blue.

I can throw a lot of justified criticism at Martinez but in the transfer front he has been fantastic for us.

To be honest if we sign this fella then I'm expecting a player who has a little bit of pace, direct, scores a few goals and is an upgrade on kone.

If he is better than fantastic, but considering transfer prices these days then a solid upgrade on kone and I'm happy.
