What a load of moaners!! Readers of similar threads will remember people saying that Mori would be slow, not used to
big time footie, never haerd of him, look at Vickory's comments etc and lo behold he is a top central defender and will get better when he finally has a decent goalie behind him.

This lad has been ok'd by RM. EFC are willing to spend dosh in the winter window. Enough for me.

Amazing innit. People moan all window about not signing anyone. We look to be now potentially signing two players - one of which has just broken through really and the other nobody has seen play ever - and they're both not good enough.

Its actually brilliant to think we could have:

Lukaku / Niasse / Kone
Barkley / Bolanos /Tarashaj
Deulofeu / Lennon / Mirallas

But zero left wingers...unless one of these can play on the left permanently.

Bolanos is not first team quality- hence Brighton and Hove were looking at him last week, same goes for Tarashaj (though Taj does have great potential).

Not to piss on peoples parades but having actually seen this bloke play a fair bit, he is not really much of an improvement over Kone IMO, bang average last season, been goo this year but not exactly standing out as a exceptional player when watching him, quite strong, decent finisher, decent pace, decent in the air, overall at this level he looks a decent player no more, think in the premiership he will fail big time.

13.5m if thats true is an absolute joke of a transfer, this will go down as one for the Bobby haters to hang him with - can vault me on that along with my last assessment of a player from Russia in McGeady

For those saying he is a out and out striker, he's played this season in Russia their, before that he was getting played out on the wing more often than not, basically Mark II Kone

So, €13.5m. Around £10mil.

I suppose it's a risk, yes. But one that we probably have to take. Based off the FourFourTwo article someone posted earlier in the transfer thread, the lad has been a late developer so to speak. Struggled in Norway but then was ace in Turkey (I know, not the best). Went to Lokomotiv, struggled as he was second choice, then, when he got in the team after N'Doye left, started scoring the goals.

I highly doubt he's been brought in to replace Lukaku per-say.

I think he's what Martinez wants to get as that younger version of Kone - a player that can start wide left but drift inside to hold the ball up and get up top to support Rom. We are at our best going forward when Lukaku has somebody up alongside him, there's no doubting that.

Wtf

Is this really happening...yerssss

Heard a story that this lad went through a manhood rite at the age of 17. In that rite young man must bring a pair of lion testicles into tribe elders shed. Yermar caused an extinction of senegalese lion population with his excessive rampage. After that his family and tribe knew this man has to earn his living by dealing with some sort of balls. Boss player.

I reckon the South American, Bolanos, is no stranger to a Line either.

I doubt he's been brought in (if we sign him) to be an automatic first-team choice. It does however give us options with Naismith having left and Kone being turb-tosh 90% of the time.

If you're not a chico/moutsgoat multi and you're genuinely basing your judgement on a player on FIFA, then you have no real argument - they rate McGeady highly, for example.

At least @bluestevon is putting forward a case on Niasse having seen the lad play a little bit. I highly doubt anyone has ever seen Bolaños play.

Second choice to N'Doye you say.......

Mmmmm.

Im flying into BKK tomorrow...hows the weather?

If anything Bolanos looks pretty decent on the clips and for the price seems an interesting option for us who can play a few positions perhaps...Tarashaj and him should add quality competition in the squad.

The weird one for me is the senagalese guy....
