What I really like the sound of is the "hard working" bit who is unselfish and always has an eye for a pass. His assists stats are as good as his scoring stats so this could be a huge boost for Lukaku.
Lukaku's better performances have come when Kone has been up there with him so he definitely likes support rather than going it alone so if this fella is an upgrade on Kone (not difficult to be fair), who is good at laying on chances for his strike partner then happy days!

Good signing to give the team a lift. Hope this signing will give the team a boost to turn this around with 15 games to go in the league. Have to be honest here, for me Martinez's record of signing players are good at Everton. He only got three signings wrong in Kone, McGeady and Alcaraz (don't count Robles as he is still unproven).

.....compared to Bolanos this fella has an impressive goal scoring pedigree along with the size (6ft 2in) and power to succeed in the Premier League. Appears more the RM type of CF and could offer a much needed effective option to Lukaku.

Not to piss on peoples parades but having actually seen this bloke play a fair bit, he is not really much of an improvement over Kone IMO, bang average last season, been goo this year but not exactly standing out as a exceptional player when watching him, quite strong, decent finisher, decent pace, decent in the air, overall at this level he looks a decent player no more, think in the premiership he will fail big time.
13.5m if thats true is an absolute joke of a transfer, this will go down as one for the Bobby haters to hang him with - can vault me on that along with my last assessment of a player from Russia in McGeady
