If he is as unfit as they say then he isn't going to be ready for a while. He must be going through a heavy fitness programme, I would rather wait to see him fully ready to go before he made his debut. Wouldn't want anyone getting on his back at an early stage of his time here.

At least with a few wins of late there is less pressure on him when he is fit enough to play. Imagine if we were struggling for a win the fans would turn on him if he missed a chance. Can be eased in and hopefully find his feet in his own time.

The little that has come through the media suggests that he is a character with a lot of self belief who might try to push himself to impress too soon.Given he hasn't played for a while I'd imagine they'll be cautious and closely monitor his fitness level before putting him in the squad.
