Can his fitness be that bad that he can't even manage 15 or so minutes as sub??

It's a strange one because Martinez conceded he wouldn't be fit yet when he signed, but did say that part of his fitness programme would be playing a part in the games.

I expected to see him on the bench TBH.

they have all played and trained to a high intensity since the middle of December. Russian League has winter break from mid-December to mid-March so he'd essentially be about to start a 'preseason' type schedule around now.

Thought he did well today, walked around the edge of the pitch pre game, did it very well. Nice line in skinny jeans, handled his iPod competently, threw in a few high five's to the kids in the crowd. Overall, was assured, showed some good walking pace and a bit of flair. One of our better performers today.

I'm unable to get to a game till mid March, so I'll look forward till then to hopefully witness a repeat performance with my own eyes.
