What relevance do either of those questions have on speaking about a potential signing? I hope this player is good, but I'm just not getting my hopes up. I just don't like the way any opinion I have shared turns into sly digs just because someone doesn't agree.

just snide personal remarks take the level down a bit when trying to have a normal conversation about a player. I'm all up for 'bantz' but when trying to have a debate it somewhat lowers the tone and makes it impossible to get anywhere. I mean at the end of the day a forum is surely a place for people to air different views/opinions and as well, respect difference of opinion not belittle or demean them.

the way I write and interact with people in this forum is, on the whole, the way I would speak to some random sat next to me at the game. I guess that could be the naivity @chicoazul was getting at.
