But is is a extremely different version to the game and not used as a absolute source, the engine / scouting source they use from the game is more based around facts and statistics of individual players, and no guess work on it at all.

I.e theres no potential stats or whatever or obviously 1-20 ratings.

I've seen a bit of it myself, it's basically very plain and cut down and is only used as a read-source and nothing more to be honest. Useful tool, but not absolute.

Because i have seen him play enough to realise he is not going to be good mate, feel free to vault me on him though either way ofc just to be fair like, still awaiting my McGeady vaults i got promised by a fair few posters when we signed him as well

eh you don't know that though.

You might have seen him play, but you could also end up being wrong, scouts could see things that you haven't etc and he could end up being great for us.

Obviously could end up being bad, but even if it is a crap league he's still got goals and assists, and is a bit of what we need upfront (pacey and hard working)

There are lots yes, but how many have we spent 13.5 million on, none. It is a lot of money. Of the list above that you mention funes mori is probably the only one that went straight into the 1st eleven that I hadn't watched/been aware of before joining. So thank you for telling me what I did and didn't know.

I had a brief look on football manager which more often than not is a very trustworthy gauge of an individuals ability and he doesn't appear on there to be a hidden gem. So I am basing my judgement on something, but again, you seem to know what I think and know better than I do.

99.5% success rate in predicting someone's ability I heard on the 5 live radio show midweek. It's hardly an ill informed avenue to go down.

Couldn't agree more. There's one on here in particular who seems to be on a mission to put a dampener on this and the the Ecordorian lad. First off we don't know either will sign, and if they do. Give them a chance first! But we get this with every signing. Part time scouts everywhere it seems!
