Aye.
In his defence, all managers sign duds. Kroldrup, for example. Brett Angell. List is endless.
Of course he's not flopped yet.
Brett Angell, why did you bring him up and ruin my day. I'm having flashbacks.
Cheers buddy

I wasn't joking GrouchoI'm missing the joke lads.
Please explain.
I appreciate your point was was actually about the footballing nation Niger.I wasn't joking Groucho
Imagine he starts today, has his usual hilarious display, stays on for 90mins and we get spankedI'm very worried about RM's lack of desire to play him, if I was manager and had lashed out £13.5m on him, I would be wanting to show him off to the world pretty pronto. My natural suspicion leads me to smell a dud here (why isn't he fit after nearly 10 weeks with us) but I will reserve any judgement until he has played more games. Play him from the start today and see how he gets on and how long he lasts, simples.

Where does that leave Roberto?
Hes only 20% fit according to Robertooo. The fitness guys at finch farm must be dishing out a harsh training programme of Jeremy Kyle reruns and doner kebabs
A few week back, Everton played FC Osterlund was it in a friendly at Finch Farm, players like Piennaar got a game, but Niasse didn't feature. Why not, if his fitness was an issue?

Because it probably isn't anything to do with his 'fitness' par se, and much more likely that they are deseperately trying to get him to work on other stuff in training so he resembles a footbaler, not playing the mid week under 21s game also seems to highlight the fact that the concern is to not let people see how poor he is looking - if it was fitness he would have played eithe rof those two games or both
It strikes me of a case of '[Poor language removed] we can't let them see what we spent 14m quid on' - maybe especially so in the current climate when it will be used as further ammunition against the manager.
Feel a bit sorry for the lad as the way this is getting handled so far has got fans who looked forward to seeing him and where optomistic about him now really against him already
