Why would anyone judge him at this point...
yes something not quite right here,in fairness to bobby not something i would expect of him, might have been better getting him on loan first £13.5 on a player who looks to not be able to play much of a part in the run in is pretty strange, should have just done without and put the money to somebody a bit more proven at the end of the season.Should they not have researched this properly?
Not judging him on what he's played yet, clearly deserves time and a proper chance like. Whenever he is considered ready if that ever is.
Carry the bags for the kit man.Gonna bag today
I notice you didn't reply to my last response. Doesn't it worry you that Kone is being talked up as a better option than him at the moment?Your new bullying target. Shame on you guys.
Is this mostly a case of fitness being so important in the premier league - he came off the back of winter break. Competition for places in the team is already strong and he should only be in on merit. He can't be that bad - player of the year in Russia and a number of premiership clubs eying him up. The timing of his arrival coinciding with general poor form and ill will towards Martinez doesn't help
Might feel like 4 months - he joined on transfer deadline day though didn't he (start of Feb)Guess the answer is mate how mnay clubs have signed a player in their mid twenties for their 3rd record transfer fee and without injury he has hardly featured in nearly 4 months. I'm guessing the answer would be a very short list and would include even fewerplayers who turned out decent
May come good may not, but right now their are some massive warnign signs in the way it looks, comments that have come out from a few sources just makes that worry more palpable
Anyway i stated my opinion clearly on him prior to him arriving and tbh even with such a bad feeling about how he would do even i am still really surprised that he has featured this little so far and how awful he has looked in those brief cameos ...
You're right - he's not contributed anything. Question is how long you give someone time to settle in and adapt. RM himself has had too long - should have gone a year ago. Niasse however wouldn't be the first player to take time to adapt to the premI would have thought the timing of his arrival was perfect, the run of bad form meant there were opportunities for him to get a place in the starting 11, the ill will towards Martinez may well have pushed him into starting Niasse to show what a good deal he had pulled off.
Instead we got nothing, £13.5 million worth of nothing. When I say nothing I am referring to end product in terms of what he has bought to our run in. I have no comment to make on Niasse' s ability or lack thereof. He has done nothing.
When Moshiri is taking stock of his manager I think Niasse will figure large in the minus column. Is Moshiri going to hand £100 million to a man whose last purchase produced nothing when required.
