I hope he turns out to be a good one, I hope that of all Everton players. Would I have spent £13.5 million on him if I had known he wouldn't have played a part for this long, probably not.

As I said I don't have an opinion on him as yet, I haven't seen enough to form any sort of opinion. He obviously has something to be Russian Player of the Year, we spent big fmoney on him.
We should wait to give him a fair chance to show what he can or can't do. We have no choice now.
I would have preferred to see the money spent on a player who could have went straight into the team and provided some momentum but that is not what we got.

Yes - missed out on Yarmolenko so went for Niasse - we did well to get in there - he would have ended up at Chelsea if Jose had stayed on

I'd give Ross a rest today and stick Niasse in from the start with Lukaku. Bot all to play for and I think Ross could benefit from a slight break before the Semi. Get some kids on the bench too.
