I understand he's not good enough for Everton, but some of these 'worst player to ever wear the shirt' comments are ridiculous.

He's hardly kicked a ball to prove himself. We've seen players hit 50 to 100 appearances who've been equally as appalling.

Off the top of my head Alcaraz and Anderson Da Silva were worse. Kone ffs!

Kone is five times the player this conman is, and he's appalling.

What is it going to take for Evertonians to acknowledge they've been had?

Martinez got desperate at the eleventh hour, knew his job was on the line after another long run of defeats and took a ridiculous and gung-ho gamble to appease the fans after he sold Naismith.

Then because nobody had heard of him - very rare in the modern game - we were fed a load of lies about him being player of the year in Russia.

Look at his career record for god sake, he couldn't get a game in Norway and struggled in the Greek league before having a purple patch for a couple of months in Russia. He will go down as the worst buy in our history, he can barely control a football. I honestly think he would struggle in non-league football.

Alas, some fans will back him hoping he comes good until he inevitably leaves and then just ignore the fact he ever played for us.

We should make a deal with City, they can have Stones for 53M if they take Niasse.

What the hell are we going to do with him? We have to pay him a fortune for 4 years? No one will take him.

The bloke's probably played less than 20 mins of competitive football for us (barely a bead of sweat has been perspired)

I do think we've been had off and it was a complete panic buy. But he's not the worst player to ever wear the shirt, by far! Ridiculous comment. I could spend half the day running off names.

X-factor effect. All or nothing.

Some of the posts on here, "fraud", "worst ever", just scream disappointed in life. I can hear the Coldplay music when I read them.

There is a reason he's only played about 20 minutes of competitive football for us - because no manager of sound mind would play him for any more having watched him trip over his own feet in training all day.

I don't know if he's the worst, but he's got to be up there, and the fee we paid just makes that even more of a ridiculous accolade.

I hope we flog him or send him back to a Russian team on loan or something. I just don't agree with the comments, there's not enough evidence yet that he is truly Sunday league.

Nobody has seen him in training or player a full game yet to make a concise enough judgement.

We all need a scapegoat, now that Ossie, Hibbo and Naismith have gone. Niasse fits the bill perfectly.
