I think sometimes the actions of the managers speak louder than the performance of the players.

Martinez splashed big on this guy and didn't have the confidence to give him a full game.

Koeman is instantly so unimpressed that he wants rid.

I hope he does go back to Russia because he seems more well suited to that league (and there is a bit of cash over there so we may recoup some of the transfer fee!)
 
I wouldn't say he's the worst player ever to play for us - I watched Brett Angel and Claus Thomsen

But, he's certainly in the conversation

Allowing for that and the unbelievable price we paid for him, I think he is in with a very decent shout of being our worst ever signing

As daft as it sounds, he doesn't look like a footballer. If it wasn't for the advent of the internet and me being able to see his (laughable) "highlights" from his previous clubs on YouTube, I'd be inclined to think we had been the victims of a con.

What about Ali Dia? Or whatever his name was. One sub appearance for Southampton and was subbed back off again. That was all it took for them to know how horrendous he was.

I'm all for giving someone a fair crack of the whip, but I expect in turn them to look vaguely like they have played football before at some point in their lives.

i dont think they paid any money for him and was only a short term contract. niasse is probably a similar standard and has cost us big money
