It really is quite shocking, big money paid for a player who is no better than me and my football days are more than 30 years ago and I was crap
This man is a professional footballer who cant actually play football of any standard
 

i don't understand, the whole forum is furious over this signing because it was a last minute rush to get someone in ... yet they all get furious and want us to rush and get loads of players in this season before it had started.

So, do fans want patience in our transfer strategy or don't they?

I find it staggering how people can have a opinion on this guy after seeing him play like a combined 100 odd minutes of football. I remember seeing drogba's first 10 odd games for Chelsea and he was truly shocking. You can see from his clips and yes the Russian league isn't the best but he is decent enough. Most people would take Witsel who is from the sane league. Koeman has made his mind up and doesn't want him which is fair enough. I would have just liked to have seen a bit more of him to be able make a fair judgement.

We just don't want another deadline day scramble for a crap player, so want the business done efficiently before then. The Niasse fiasco sounds like a better case for doing your business and getting your targets secured early than leaving it til the last minute again, to me

yep, i want that too. But most on here wanted it rushed before the season began ... but then go and slate the niasse deal which was pretty much the same.

Would that be Drogbas dreadful first ten games for Chelsea wherte he scored 5 goals in - including 3 in the CL mate? befpore he picked up an injury that ruled him out for several months?

Even looking at his 'highlight' clips from his one and only good half season of his career mate, he looks clumsy, falls over a couple of times and generally gets unbelievably lucky on nearly every finish with the bounce or defender falling over or keeper making a blooper highlight save attempt. about 2 decent finishes in the entire clip and they are both toe wellies.

Bloke was bought off one performance against Sporting in the CL when evertything went right for him in that game

I think our current manager has seen him and has deemed our new 13.5 million player not worthy of a squad number
