I find it staggering how people can have a opinion on this guy after seeing him play like a combined 100 odd minutes of football. I remember seeing drogba's first 10 odd games for Chelsea and he was truly shocking. You can see from his clips and yes the Russian league isn't the best but he is decent enough. Most people would take Witsel who is from the sane league. Koeman has made his mind up and doesn't want him which is fair enough. I would have just liked to have seen a bit more of him to be able make a fair judgement.

He is the worst professional footballer I've ever seen. He's not going to improve so dramatically to the level of a competent Premier League player with "more game time" is he? Please swerve the comparisons with Drogba, he was never "shocking" for Chelsea. I've seen League 1 players who look better than this guy

What has his age got to do with anything? If we want to sell him we need to put him in the shop window, which means going somewhere he will play 1st team football. He is currently a laughing stock who we can't give away apparently.

Even looking at his 'highlight' clips from his one and only good half season of his career mate, he looks clumsy, falls over a couple of times and generally gets unbelievably lucky on nearly every finish with the bounce or defender falling over or keeper making a blooper highlight save attempt. about 2 decent finishes in the entire clip and they are both toe wellies.

Bloke was bought off one performance against Sporting in the CL when evertything went right for him in that game

Sorry yeah meant first 10 premiership where like you said he got 2 in 10. Wasn't his goals I was referring to anyway. On the whole he looked very poor and that he would be a massive flop. By no way am I saying that niasse would turn it around like he did but just don't think he has really been given a chance.

He has, and he can't control a football. Like someone said earlier, our very experienced manager who's won everything in the game has taken one look at him and deemed him not worthy of a squad number. In the bin he goes. Hands down our worst ever player.

It was kind of my point that you can't really judge him as the worst premiership player you have ever seen when he has barely played 100 minutes. But you are entitled to make that observation.
Drogba was poor when first came over to Chelsea, I wasn't making comparisment but remember Chelsea fans questioning what they had spent all that money on.

i don't understand, the whole forum is furious over this signing because it was a last minute rush to get someone in ... yet they all get furious and want us to rush and get loads of players in this season before it had started.

So, do fans want patience in our transfer strategy or don't they?

To play devil's advocate for a second, most of the players we're being linked with right now who people want signed up are not complete unknowns from a Jarg Russian league.
