He'll earn more today (around 10k, based on a five-day week) than approximately 87 forum members' daily wages combined, if you assume the average salary is around 30k a year. Let that one sink in.

...Belgium's problem now

Regardless if we are signing anyone new this week, I think it would give everybody a lift if the club just paid up his contract to allow him to clear off. I understand that they are hoping to recoup some of the initial, horrendous outlay, but it's patently obvious that since David O'Leary is no longer in management at a club, that there is zero chance of being able to move this guy on.

I wonder if we might of been better giving him a squad number, making it look like he had a future then trying to pass him off. Putting our cards on the table like City have done with Hart means we are well and truly stuck with this guy on the wages.
We have more or less said don't waste your time on it, if we miss out on Hart for the sake of 40k extra wages that will hurt knowing that money is going out but to someone who is doing basically nowt.

Totally agree bad business sense from the club hopefully some gullible club in Europe take him

£350k per week for an absolute nutcase who sometimes plays football, a crock who'd like to play football and Niasse. Wow!

The paper that we can't mention has the following listed who are not first choice (all £/wk):
As an XI
Hart £150,000
Debuchy £70,000
Mangala £100,000
Sakho £75,000
Cuadrado £90,000
Toure Yaya £220,000
Schweinsteiger £190,000
Nasri £120,000
Remy £100,000
Markovic £45,000
Balotelli £110,00

4 from city
1 from Arsenal
2 from Chelsea
1 from Utd
3 from RS .......... amazing when they don't have regular CL footy to balance their wage bill
