THe strangest part was how straight after they had signed him they were making wierd statements about not being ready etc. I'm honestly of the belief that he was sussed out in within a couple of mins into his first training session.

possibly, but then why did martinez give him those sub appearances?

Lukaku's raw, really raw, interview sent me West from the start.

haha remember all the comments of leave him alone. Give him a pre season and chance to adapt etc

and then the new manager didn't even put him in his squad! lol

I would just pay his contract up and get him away from the squad.

Imagine the young players watching him and mimicking him as he's a £13.5m footballer. He'd kill the academy in days.

Doesn't help that if any club googled him the first quotes they will see is " The worst Transfer in Premiership History" on most of the footie websites.

Not just his ability. If the lad was really trying he would not be publicly humiliated. He must be absolute poison off the field too. Just a terrible situation for all parties, except he is picking up more in a month than most of us earn in a year for doing absolutely nothing.

There's no doubt about that. Lukaku came out and called him "raw" after his first few training sessions, which is professional code for "absolutely awful".

He either sits at home picking up wages or leaves.
I wish it was as simple as that, but it won't be. Whether he's an outcast or not he'll be expected to train - it's just to what degree and who with.

Without Niasse training then there'll be no chance we will ever get him off the books, as a club will not buy/loan an inadequately fit player.

It'll also undermine the whole relationship between club and player as at least paying you for something and aren't totally belittling him.

I am sure we will be seeking for a permanent move for him somewhere, yet if not he'll be getting loaned out even if it's on unfavourable terms.

For me, releasing him from his contract is the last case scenario as we should at least look to recoup some of the original outlay or his wages.

Could work the other way, give them confidence. Imagine watching him and thinking this fella is worth £13.5m, they may realise they actually have a very good chance of making it in football........................................................
