Why are people making their judgements on this guy based on, what? 50-60 mins of actual 1st team playing time? Oumar Niasse is surely a better option than Kone. Wouldn't mind seeing Niasse and Valencia both up front tomorrow.

He definitely got a decent amount of minutes more than once. Wikipedia reckons 5 appearances though I'm sure a couple were 89 minute subs or something.

Considering Koeman saw him more in his first few weeks than anyone else on here has, and his opinion was 'he isn't any good', I'm guessing that's not gonna be the case...

I would assume his opinion is he isnt what he wants for our team, his style of play, maybe his mental side of things, who knows?

Apparently Niasse has been key to helping Gana settle, which is a good thing.
