Unbelievable. Torres contributed SOMETHING to Chelsea, he scored against Barca and in the Europa League final. In no way, shape or form was he a worse buy than Niasse, what planet are you on?

Planet Earth.

And I am expressing an opinion.

That OK with you, Mike?

Good ;)

Opinions are fine if you can provide your reasoning to back them up, but you have provided absolutely no logic or reason as to why Oumar Niasse has been a better signing than Fernando Torres.

People trying to make a case for this lad not being given a chance. Get in the real world please, if we'd given him 7 starts this season we'd be near the relegation zone. It's not one of those "he just needs time to bed in lads", he is not a footballer. He will not "do well" for Hull, and we are going to have to go through the process of trying to get rid of him all over again in the summer, pull yourselves together.

He is a footballer though!

Nobody is saying he should have been given games, what some people question is how people seem to know everything about a player who has played a grand total of like 180 minutes for us.

Hello?

This is an internet message board.

Not a court of law.

No one is required to provide "logic or reason" for owt.

Stop taking both this forum and yourself so seriously.

IMO Fernando Torres is the mother of all bad January signings.

And to quote Alice Cooper........if that don't suit ya, that's too bad :p

Mate you've still not told us why Oumar Niasse has been better value for money than Fernando Torres.

Cost per goal:-

Niasse cost £13.5 million for 0 goals.
Carroll cost £5.8 million per goal.
Torres cost £2.5 million per goal.

Cost per appearance:-

Niasse cost £2.7 million per appearance.
Carroll cost £0.79 per appearance.
Torres cost £0.45 million per appearance.

Also lets not forget Torres scored in the Champions League semi-final, FIFA Club World Cup semi-final and Europa League Final for Chelsea.

It is quite simply a non-comparison.

Opinions are fine but this is a dreadful one.

Niasse cost us 13.5 million plus wages for no goals and made us a laughing stock.

Torres cost 50 million and underperformed but still looked like a footballer.

Always put an "IMO" when disparaging another chap's views, Llama.

That way you aren't setting yourself up as the opinion police.
