Stakeholder: "a person with an interest or concern in something, especially a business."

I didn't say it was a dodgy deal. I said dubious. The whole thing stinks.

- At the time we had extremely limited resources.

- Anyone looking at the lad play can tell how bad he is. As soon as he got to finch farm the rumours started, "He's non-league level". Etc.

- We risked potentially £20m+ because he had a good record in a poxy Russian league and a half decent YouTube video?

The massive waste of resources has been less damaging thanks to Moshiri. Another few more deals of this calibre with Kenwright in charge could have been the end of us as a Premier League side.

It stinks because you want it to stink.

We did not have "extremely" limited resources. Where are you getting that from?

You have no idea what scouting etc was done on him.

Hes obviously not non league level is he seeing as he was already playing in a decent standard league (and indeed doing well there), is an international player and can obviously score a goal. So the "rumours" were wrong. Thats not even saying he is any good, but hes not non league level.

Anyone saying that they have seen enough of him play is talking pure nonsense, because you really cant judge someone on the time he got with us. But of course we are all experts.

We took a shot on a player and it didnt work out. It happens at every club and with every manager, we are no different but you seemingly think we should be immune to such things and if we do get hit with one then it "stinks"?

Good luck to the lad, maybe we can get some of our cash back for him and fair play to him for going through a rough time in a decent manner, I liked him saying that he felt good scoring against the RS as he is technically still an Everton player. If it was me I would tell some of you to shove it.

....I have to admit to being a conspiracy theorist myself. There's something very wrong with this deal and I don't mean a bad scouting report or misjudgement. The only detail I've been unofficially told is that we paid the selling club £6m, which is still probably over the odds. The player himself might be keeping his counsel because he's fully aware he's one of the beneficiaries.

Anyway, I dare say we'll never know. Indeed, we are best never knowing.

He had every right to attack Koeman. He was, as you say, very dignified.

There's a lesson there to be learned by people quick to call time on a player and quick to treat them like dogs. Let's hope that person learns it...I doubt it though.

What did he do that was dignified? Complaining to the Daily Mail that he had no locker to put his possessions in. He moaned, trained and played in the under 23's to get a move and collect his wages.

Don't see a problem with what he said:

“I’m in the dressing-room with the under-23s but I don’t have a locker,” Niasse says. “The other players have where they put their stuff but I don’t. I come with my bag and I just have a place I know. I put my bag down, I train and after, I put everything in my car and go home.”

“It’s sad, it’s really sad,” Niasse says. “And, to be honest, I think I don’t deserve this but what I can do is just keep my head and fight to change things. I’m not going to make a drama over this. I just deal with it. I know it’s just one period.”

It stinks because you want it to stink.

I don't want things to stink. That's the point I'm trying to make. I want open and honest discourse (where appropriate) between the club and fanbase. I genuinely believe we are heading in the right direction in that regard.

We did not have "extremely" limited resources. Where are you getting that from?

We've been sell to buy for about 20 years. We've been in debt to Vibrac and Philip Green and co. have been milking the place dry. In what world is that unlimited resources? It stinks.

You have no idea what scouting etc was done on him.

I know, we don't know what scouting took place. If any. I would very much like to know exactly what happened here.

I've seen enough of him play to know he's not good enough.

I don't mind taking a shot at a player and things not working out. It happens. I do mind when £20m+ is risked on a deal that looks absolutely ridiculous. Then, we have to put up with lies about a wrist injury. No one came out and said, ok, I've sanctioned this deal ... so and so scouted him for X amount of games ... we liked his record and took a punt etc. At least now we know who makes the decisions and who is accountable.

I genuinely wish the lad well, this is not his fault. I celebrated his goal with everyone else at Goodison with a good ammount of laughter though, because it's funny someone so bad scored the winner against the scum.

You neglected to concede the stakeholder point. Don't worry about it

Well I am sure we all would like that but they dont have to do anything of the sort and I dont think we are as bad as people make out in that regard. We could be a lot, lot worse.

We've been sell to buy for about 20 years. We've been in debt to Vibrac and Philip Green and co. have been milking the place dry. In what world is that unlimited resources? It stinks.

I know we have. At that point in time though that wasnt the case. Most of our issues had been resolved and we had extra cash coming in. 13M is really not a big amount these days. We dont half live in the past with things like this.

I know, we don't know what scouting took place. If any. I would very much like to know exactly what happened here.

Fair enough, but you have no right to be given this information. Why would they do that? He is still a saleable asset at the club. Do you want the club to come out and say "no we didnt do any scouing on him, hes rubbish isnt he lolz! Give us money!" Of course thats not going to happen. Maybe if and when we get rid of him but whilst he is a player at the club that would be utter madness.

I didn't say he was non league level, I said they were the rumours coming out of the club.

Well the rumour mongers are wrong. He has had a career elsewhere, its not like he just appeared out of nowhere.

I've seen enough of him play to know he's not good enough.

No I agree he probably isnt. But that's nothing new in football. Some people were acting like he had just wandered in off the streets and decided to play football. That's not the case. By the looks of it he may be a half decent lower end premier league player. We obviously overpaid for him based on his ability but we havnt bought in a sunday league player for mad money either.

Im assuming the 20M is with wages? Seriously though what clubs do what you mention here? Why should they? Its fairly obvious what happened, he was a player going through a purple patch who the club obviously thought could do a job, then he came over with an injury (where are you getting the lies thing from? thats just guess work from you) and seemingly some personal issues and it just escalated from there. Again, all clubs have had to deal with that at some point.

I genuinely wish the lad well, this is not his fault. I celebrated his goal with everyone else at Goodison with a good ammount of laughter though, because it's funny someone so bad scored the winner against the scum.

I did respond to that. I think it was in response to someone else replying to me.

I feel like I am responding a bit to aggressively to Niasse stuff, I apologize, i dont mean to be that way, its just it annoyed me when people began to liken the deal to Ali Dia (i find that pretty disrespectful of both the club and player)and its started to wind me up massively that people cant give the lad any credit whatsoever for a nicely taken goal against the RS and him showing that he isnt quite as bad as some would like to believe.

Still doesnt make him good mind...

@Papa Shango

There is no need to apologize, we are friends and blues having a reasoned debate. I also get overly pent-up when I think about how we have been mismanaged as a club over the last 20 years.

I disagree with some of what you are saying but okay, that's football. I agree his goal was nicely taken at the weekend. Forza Niasse
