I suppose that is true as far as it goes.

He does not own Omar an apology for not rating him at all or deeming him worthy of a squad number.

But I think he should apologise to the fans for being mistaken in this belief because given what we did see of the boy when he went to Hull, it is ridiculous Ronald did not use him during that dreadful Autumn run when we crying out for something different to change games and Kone and Valencia were all we had on the bench

We agreed on his stance with regard to Ross earlier in the season, which koeman himself he admitted was wrong. However koeman does not rate the lad at all and let's face it we did well to get him out on loan for 6 months. Koeman obviously instructed him and his agent to find another club as he has no future here. Why retain him in the squad, when he has no chance of playing?

I too have my reservations about Rooney coming back, but I certainly don't want to see niasse near the first team squad again.

I just think Oumar proved he's got goals in him. I agree with @Khalekan's post above.

If I remember correctly, the locker incident happened because Niasse wouldn't go on loan to start the season. Having said that, the manager should have handled the situation better. It was probably stupid of Niasse to try and fight for his place (Koeman had obviously made up his mind), but I admire the guy for trying to prove himself.

Agree with this. I like Koeman but it was pretty disgraceful how Niasse was treated even if he isn't that good at football.

What you said above is true.

However....the way he handled Niasse was in my mind, unprofessional, especially for a club such as Everton. There are ways to handle players and to let them know they're surplus to requirements. Koeman messed up on this one and badly.
