Fenerbahce have set their sights on out-of-favour Everton striker Oumar Niasse, according to reports in Turkey.

The Senegal international, who spent the second-half of last season on loan at Hull City, is not expected to be part of Ronald Koeman's long-term plans at Goodison Park.

And Turkish newspaper Fanatik are reporting that Fenerbahce are currently in talks with the 27-year-old over a proposed loan move.

Everton have set Niasse's asking price at £10m and the Turkish giants are not willing to match that valuation and have instead explored the possibility of a temporary move.

The Toffees signed Niasse from Lokomotiv Moscow for £13.5m back in January 2016 but the forward has struggled for first-team football at the Merseyside club.

Fenerbahce would be able to offer Niasse regular football and they are expected to press forward with their proposal in the coming days.

Nailed on, but not sure he will get as good as a reception as Naismith did

Not sure to many fans would give him to much greif, he just isnt good enough for what we want. At least he doesn't run round in the press bad mouthing the club. I'll be happy to see him elsewhere doing well aslong as it isn't against us

Unfortunately he's not good enough but you can't blame the lad. If a premier league club comes along offers silly money who wouldn't take it.

I'll never say a bad word about his attitude, but he is right up there with the worst signings in the history of the club given how much money was spent on him and just how bad he turned out to be

Surprised a Boro/Villa type club haven't come in for him. He'll easily hit around 10-15 in the championship imo over a season and for £8-10 million that's a bargain when see what players in the championship are now going for.
