Koeman will assess him in preseason, if he thinks that there is nothing there to make it worth keeping him this new regime will doubtlessly think nothing of taking a loss on him and moving him on. My own personal opinion, county comb standard, but I hope I am wrong.
 
Can see him as a back up player next season for sure. considering we have lost both Mcgeady (soon) and piennar for the left he can fill in that role. Or sell kone and he can be third choice striker.

We won't sell anytime soon (more so if he goes to prison lol ) but can see him playing the league cup games at very least
 

How many players have come over to the premier league from a foreign country and looked pretty poor and developed into decent players?

I can name Fellaini and Pienaar for starters.

I'll admit that he hasnt looked good, very awkward and clumsy but I really cant believe that a player would be that bad who won Russias player of the season. Let him get a full pre season under his belt and see what Mr Koeman does with him.

Before the 2014/15 season, he joined FC Lokomotiv Moscow for €5.5m. In his first season in the Russian Premier League, he got four goals and two assists. During this current 2015/16 season he has 12 goals and 10 assists and was named the Russian Premier League player of the year for 2015.
